Having trained and qualified with a firm in Evesham, James became manager with a prominent Cheltenham firm prior to establishing harpersheldon with Simon. James still lives in Evesham and is a governor at his son's local school.

James is also a keen motorcyclist and spends much of his spare time either on the bike or travelling Europe following the Moto GPs.

Simon graduated at Exeter University in 1987 before training and qualifying in 1991 with a Top 20 Gloucestershire practice. Simon lives in Gloucester and is married with two children.

As well as running the practice with a special responsibility for staff and recruitment, Simon is Treasurer of a local Youth Club, Governor of an Infants School and a panel member and Director of the Gloucestershire Development Loan Fund.

In his spare time he enjoys walking, swimming and spending as much time as possible in the West Country.
